visum_parseZaehlstelle.py#
VISUM can store count positions, and optionally, their values. As count positions may be extended by user attributes, we have set up a small script which extracts both, the positions, and the user attributes, and fixes the positions on the given network.
The call is:
<SUMO_HOME>/tools/import/visum/visum_parseZaehlstelle.py <SUMO-net> <VISUM-net> <output>
This means that you have to give both, the converted, and the original net to this tool. <output> is the name of the output file to generate. The tool converts the "ZAEHLSTELLE" elements into a list of pois, located at the first (rightmost) lanes of the network; these can be used as additional Polygons and POIs within the Simulation.
visum_convertXMLRoutes.py#
This tool imports a Visum-(XML)-route file and converts it into a sumo route file. The network should have matching node and edge ids (i.e. have been imported with netconvert --visum-file). It is permitted to use a network with modifications (i.e. **--junctions.join).
Example
<SUMO_HOME>/tools/import/visum/visum_convertXMLRoutes.py -n <SUMO-net> -r <VISUM-route-file> -o <output-file>
By default, the volume data in the input route file is interpreted as daily volume. This can be changed by setting option --scale. For intermodal networks, option --vclass can be used to restrict routes to those which are usable by the given class. Option --attributes permits to set further attributes for the generated flows.
